Peter Brocklebank

Associate Director

Peter Brocklebank has over 25 years of experience in transport consultancy, as a transport economist and modeler. He has been responsible for analysis, technical direction, and project management on a wide range of studies in the UK, Africa, North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. His expertise includes traffic revenue forcasting and public transport patronage and revenue forcasting.

Peter performed traffic and revenue forecasting for toll roads, and for both public and private sector clients, in Belgium Canada, Chile, Croatia, Germany, Greece, India, Ivory Coast, Netherlands, Philippines, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Tanzania, Turkey, and United States. He successfully closed the following projects: Korinth-Kalamata and Maliakos-Kleidi (Greece), Autopista del Sol (Chile), A4 Hörselberge (Germany), A25 Montréal and Okanagan Lake Bridge (Canada), and N4 Platinum Highway (South Africa). He has led the forecasting for the Preferred Bidders on the two Turkish highway concessions awarded to date; Istanbul Straits Road Tunnel and Gebze-Izmir Motorway.

Peter's public transport patronage and revenue forecasting activities included multimodal transport studies for Leeds, Hull, and Cleveland (UK), and for Valencia (Spain). Public-private partnership and privatization projects include Charles de Gaulle Express (France), East Rand Pilot Commuter Rail Concession (Johannesburg), Brussels Airport rail link (Belgium), Gautrain Rapid Rail Link (South Africa), Manchester Metrorail Phase 1 (UK), Toronto airport rail link (Canada), Jutland rail services (Denmark), and HSL-Zuid high-speed rail line (Netherlands). He managed public transport projects in  Cape Town airport rail link (South Africa); high-speed rail projects in Canada, U.S. (three corridors), Australia, and Portugal; bus rapid transit projects in the UK; and a ferry privatization in Istanbul.
