LeighFisher provides a range of services for equity investors, including due diligence reviews prior to mergers, asset acquisition or disposal, advice on specific technical matters during project development and provision of management services during the design, construction and operation phases of projects.
When undertaking Technical Due Diligence we use a Risk-to-Equity approach, whereby key risk issues are identified, evaluated and closed out in an efficient manner that adds value to the Project by obviating time-consuming discussions of detailed technical matters that have little or no impact on the risk to the investor, whether vendor or potential purchaser. LeighFisher is staffed with a mix of engineers and analysts who understand this Risk-to-Equity approach and who are able to lead teams of multidisciplinary experts in support of complex deals while remaining focused on issues of primary importance to the investor. Areas of analysis that may be applicable to a project, include, for example, demand, volume, cost, completion and operational performance risks.
Support during project development covers a wide range of subjects. From within LeighFisher we support investors in their commercial negotiations with contractors, particularly in respect of payment terms, cashflow analysis, limits of liability and support packages.
