AIRLINE NEGOTIATIONS AND RELATIONS

In the United States, airport sponsors and the major airlines serving airports typically enter into agreements that establish the basis for setting rentals, fees, and charges; document the operating and business relationships between the parties; and govern the planning and development of new airport facilities. Negotiations between the parties usually precede the construction of any major airport projects because of their effect on airport tenants.

Leigh Fisher Associates assists airport sponsors in formulating strategies for airline lease negotiations, including analyzing the effects of different rate-setting methodologies; provides technical coordination to obtain approval for facility requirements; and assists in negotiating with the airlines and other tenants.
