Sheri Ernico has 30 years of experience in airport financial and economic analysis, including strategic financial planning, capital program development, financial feasibility studies for more than $6 billion in airport revenue bonds, rates and charges analyses, passenger facility charge and grant programs, and privatization assessments. Sheri previously held the position of Finance Director for San Francisco International Airport.
Sheri has managed financial feasibility studies in support of the issuance of $6 billion in airport revenue bonds, including bonds sold to finance improvements at the airports serving Boston, Burbank, Charleston (South Carolina), Cleveland, Denver, El Paso, Fresno, New York (John F. Kennedy), Orlando, Pittsburgh, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, Sacramento, and Tucson. She was extensively involved in developing new bond resolutions and amendments to existing resolutions, as well as coordinating the preparation of other financing documents. She provided strategic financial guidance on the $1.27 billion Terminal Modernization Program at Sacramento International Airport, the $800 million midfield terminal complex at Pittsburgh International Airport, an $800 million capital improvement program at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and major terminal expansion programs at Boston-Logan International, Raleigh-Durham International, and John Wayne airports. She also directed the customer facility charge standalone bond issue for Orlando International Airport, in addition to numerous passenger facility charge backed bond feasibility studies. She currently is assisting the Broward County Aviation Department with its plans to finance the $800 million South Runway Expansion Program for Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
On behalf of her airport clients, Sheri has managed more than 20 airline negotiations, for the airports serving Appleton (Wisconsin), Boston, Cedar Rapids, Charleston (South Carolina), Cleveland, Denver, Des Moines, Harrisburg, El Paso, Erie, Madison, Missoula, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Portland (Maine), Portland (Oregon), Richmond, Rochester, Sacramento, Syracuse, and Tucson. She also assisted the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority in a strategic review of its existing airline agreements at Washington National and Washington Dulles international airports.
