Gilles is a business executive with 25 years of experience in renewable green energy, energy performance contracting, engineering, design/build, construction, and facility renewal and with large design-build-operate-maintain (DBOM) and public-private partnership (PPP or P3) projects.
At LeighFisher, Gilles specializes in social infrastructure, energy, and process industries. He is the lead on several Lenders Technical Advisory mandates covering hospital and data centers, as well as lead Independent Certifier for a detention center that is being delivered as a P3 project. He is also pursuing water, biosolid, and energy projects. He has a strong technical and engineering background in buildings, energy, and process industries.
Gilles is the lead Lenders Technical Advisor for two data centers; one in Quebec and the other is a Mission Critical Datacentre in Ontario for the largest military base in Canada. Both data centers are being implemented as P3 design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM) projects. He is also the project manager for an Independent Certifier mandate for a detention center in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. In 2015, this project was named the best Social Infrastructure Project in North America by P3 Awards. He is also the lead for a design-build-finance (DBF) hospital being built in Quebec.
